Chocolate energy balls are an amazing snack to give you a boost of energy, they are great for kids providing much needed healthy fats, vitamins and minerals.

The nuts and nut butter in this recipe is a great source of monounsaturated fat, helping to reduce bad cholesterol and keep us satiated.

We love to use Medjool dates for this recipes as they are super soft and sticky making the perfect energy ball texture.
Chocolate & Maca Powder
In this recipe we have used The Chocolate One superfood mix and The Maca One superfoods mix. These two mixes which are high in minerals like magnesium and iron are especially great for boosting mental and physical energy.

Add the dates, nuts, nut butter, milk, seeds and superfood powders into a food processor and process until the mixture sticks together. If the mixture is a little dry add another teaspoon of milk and whizz again until sticky.

Roll golf ball sized amounts of the mixture into balls then roll into the topping of your choice. And enjoy!
